“IPipeline’s culture is based on innovation, passion, accountability, customer centricity and teamwork,” says Tim Wallace. “We work hard, play hard, collaborate and strive to achieve a level of transparency that breaks down barriers to building a great culture.” In 2016, iPipeline implemented Culture Improvement Days. Each quarter, two to three groups of employees gather for half a day to discuss what could be done to make the company a better place to work. The team agrees on a list of recommendations and schedules a one-on-one meeting with Wallace to present them. As a result of one recommendation, iPipeline reduced the number of work years employees needed to receive their fourth week of vacation. The company also changed its dress code to allow jeans at the office.
“Culture building is hard, but culture rules. It is the foundation for building an outstanding and lasting company.”
