Denise Hart headshot O2 LabABOUT DENISE HART: As a partner in O2 Lab, Denise is responsible for new business development, account management, marketing and strategic initiatives. Denise’s marketing and sales experience offers the unique advantage of having spanned both the client and agency sides giving her keen insight into the opportunities and strategies that deliver success.
Denise holds a Masters’ degree in Public Relations from American University and is a member of Women In Technology (WIT). She is a founder of The Leadership Foundry – an initiative to increase the number of women on corporate boards. Denise serves on the WIT board as the liaison to The Leadership Foundry, Executive Women, Women Business Owners and Leadership Lunch groups. Denise is a board member and active participant in Leadership Greater Washington serving on the governance and nominating committees. She is a member of the class of 2008. Denise is also a member of The Hub serving on their Advisory Board, a member of the Steering Committee for Women on Boards 2020 and the Capital Speakers Club.
Denise recently was named to SmartCEO’s Brava! Awards 2015 and WBJ’s Women Who Mean Business 2014. She also won the 2014 & 2012 WIT Champion Award from Women in Technology. She was named one of the Most Influential Women of Virginia 2013 and she won Arlington County’s Women of Vision Award in the Business category in March 2013. In June 2011, she received the Change Agent of the Year award for Leadership Greater Washington. Denise also received the Most Engaged Small Business Award for her firm’s involvement in the Board of Trade’s mission to grow business.

Robert McVearry headshot O2 LabABOUT ROBERT MCVEARRY: Robert has more than 20 years of experience art directing and designing high-quality, conceptually relevant communication solutions. As a principal of O2 Lab, Robert is responsible for guiding, managing and inspiring all aspects of design and production, ensuring the firm’s high standards are consistently upheld. Prior to O2 Lab, Robert ran his own design business for several years, developing many long-term client relationships by delivering distinct designs and exceptional service.
He studied advertising design at the University of Maryland and after earning his degree, began his career at a design studio, later becoming the senior art director for Sparkman & Associates, Inc. Robert is past Vice-President of the Washington, DC Chapter of the AIGA. He is also an adjunct professor of graphic design at the Corcoran College of Art + Design. He is a member of Leadership Greater Washington’s Class of 2013.
