LivePerson’s mission is to create meaningful connections. Robert LoCascio says this mentality applies to not only customers, but also employees and the larger community. The mission even comes through in the company’s physical office space, which is open and collaborative, and lacks any individual offices. All of the tables and walls can be written on, and all of the chairs and tables have wheels so the team can quickly assemble. Beyond the physical manifestation of LivePerson’s culture, the company empowers employees to take on charitable causes and runs a yearly event called Feeding NYC to feed thousands of hungry New Yorkers around Thanksgiving. Each year, LivePerson selects winners for its Outstanding Employee Awards. Winners get to go on a unique trip together so they can create stronger relationships.
