President and CEO
Cara Faske, president and CEO of Pace Communications Group Inc., had been in the business of marketing and branding real estate for many years, and came to the conclusion that no one was taking an original approach. “Every campaign looked similar — a floor plan, a rendering and a lackluster headline that did nothing to differentiate the product,” says Faske. So she founded her own company, Cara Martin, Inc., which eventually merged with Pace Communications to become a part of WPP, the world’s largest advertising agency holding company.
Quick Tip: “I have always found leadership to be about respecting each member of my team and being inclusionary.”
When Pace Communications’ former CEO stepped down, Faske took over, and she has worked to reinvent the brand, embrace digital communications and restructure the agency. Faske says that in her short time as president and CEO, the company has seen a “serious infusion of new business,” with a 100-percent revenue increase.
Faske has been actively involved in organizations like Uniting Against Lung Cancer (UALC). During her time with UALC, the organization has funded more than $10 million in research.
