Sapient Government Services (SGS), part of Publicis.Sapient, is a global consulting company that helps lead public-sector organizations through digital and business transformations. One of SGS’ core values is openness, which also manifests itself in the company’s office space. No one at SGS has an office. Rather, all executives sit with their team.
Fun Fact: SGS is involved in three long-standing pro-bono relationships with No Greater Sacrifice, March of Dimes and The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health.
Armed with a passion for science and innovation, SGS president Teresa Bozzelli majored in computer science starting in the late 1970s. Early in her professional career, Bozzelli had the opportunity to work at the space program with NASA in Houston. Surrounded by the very male-dominated world of science and engineering, where many were reticent to share their “secret sauce” with a woman, Bozzelli had to learn to navigate her way.
Bozzelli spends time mentoring colleagues on personal and professional growth, lifelong learning and work-life balance. For example, Bozzelli has participated in panels focused on leadership, diversity and mentorship both within SGS and the broader industry.
