Rethink Innovations designs, customizes, installs and maintains any technology for its customers. “We founded Rethink Innovations as a way to help small companies with their technology needs. Technology can be very daunting and expensive for some businesses,” says Allyson Christoffersen, managing partner and CEO. “We work with companies to get them the best and most appropriate system that they can afford. We work within their budget and deliver a custom solution tailored to their specific needs.”
Fun Fact: Christoffersen serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Women Business Owners.
In developing solutions for clients, Rethink Innovations will work closely with each client’s designers or architects to achieve a good fit. “Most of our competitors will give proposals that are a set of pre-canned ideas,” says Christoffersen. “One might think that our options are more expensive since we take so much time to understand our client, but they’re not.”
Like most businesses, Rethink Innovations has had its share of challenges. “The most rewarding part of the challenges we face is getting to share them with other business owners,” says Christoffersen. “A lot of business owners feel they are going it alone, and it doesn’t have to be that way. Once they hear that others go through the same or similar struggles, they get this sense of relief.” Communication and openness are also values Christoffersen stresses in dealing with her employees. “I consider this company just as much theirs as it is ours,” she says.
