Chris Sullens believes that a happy workforce can have a dramatic impact on business growth. From the beginning, WorkWave provides the necessary tools and training to empower employees through a comprehensive onboarding program. Sullens says that providing the opportunity for new members to get to know the company leads to more successful employees. Some of the things new employees learn during this process are the company’s core values, which include “speak up,” “give a damn” and “embrace quirkiness.” To uphold these values, WorkWave focuses on internal programs that promote a fun, caring and performance-oriented culture. Each month, the company votes on an employee of the month, who receives a reserved parking space and a special gift. Additionally, on the last day of every month, the company celebrates a WorkWave Spirit Day.
“WorkWave offers employees a casual dress code, flexible work hours, tuition reimbursement, a multitude of philanthropic and health-oriented company events, and charitable donation matches.”
