Peloton Advantage, LLC works to create a collaborative work environment complete with strong communication, leadership and work-life balance. To maintain a democratic exchange of ideas as the company grows, Peloton formed its Committee Committed to Leadership and Empowerment. The seven-person team studies the employee experience and gathers feedback to ensure that a positive work environment is always a priority. The committee implemented a monthly newsletter to enhance staff communication, and daily employee recognition has become an important part of Peloton’s culture. Through the committee, Peloton has created events like themed potluck lunches, monthly birthday celebrations and ice cream on Fridays. The company recently held a bike-building event for the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson during which the staff divided into teams, decorated bikes and presented them to happy children.
