DONE DEAL: Riviera Caterers has partnered with Silverstein Properties to launch WTC360, a venue on the 68th floor of 4 World Trade Center. The 34,000-square-foot space is equipped with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that offer 360-degree views of the city. Riviera was enlisted to convert the raw, temporary space into a customizable luxury venue. “As Silverstein continues to develop additional buildings within the World Trade Center, Riviera will exclusively acquire the unleased spaces and implement a similar strategy,” says Andrew Cavitolo, CEO and creative director. The program is projected to continue through 2025.

Fun Fact: Launched in 1895, Riviera has been a family-run operation for over a century.

BIG IMPACT: Riviera has seen substantial revenue growth since launching off-site service, a move that became necessary after the destruction of its original venue during Hurricane Sandy in 2012. The partnership with Silverstein in particular has increased brand visibility for Riviera. “WTC360 is an exciting new venture that has essentially put Riviera on both the consumer and trade map,” says Cavitolo. “It is a space that has, and will continue to, attract Fortune 500 corporations, private clients and high-profile charities.” At the same time, the success of Riviera’s off-site business has enabled it to rebuild its Brooklyn facility.
