President and CEO
DONE DEAL: In March 2015, Learfield Sports completed an acquisition of controlling interest in ANC, a provider of video displays, in-venue sponsorship platforms, digital signage and other technology systems for sports venues, transportation hubs and retail facilities. Jerome Cifarelli continues to serve as president and CEO of ANC, and the company will continue to operate under its original name. Cifarelli and Learfield president and CEO Greg Brown had been crossing paths in the sports industry for close to 20 years. The two businesses offered different services in sports, but were similar in that their objective was to form long-term partnerships with clients.
Fun Fact: ANC has completed some of the most recognized video displays in the world, including the largest center-hung scoreboard in the NBA, for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
BIG IMPACT: Since the acquisition, ANC has experienced rapid growth, specifically in the collegiate space. In the five years prior to the acquisition, ANC had completed an average of six new college projects per year. After the acquisition, that number rose to 20. Aligning itself with the Learfield brand also allowed ANC to expand beyond sports, including a project at the Fulton Center, a major transportation hub in New York City where ANC operates 53 locations of digital signage.
