Founder and CEO
CallTrackingMetrics got its start when husband and wife Laure and Todd Fisher realized that phone systems were often getting in the way of businesses being able to grow globally and engage with their customers. They started the company in their basement and have built it into a multi-million-dollar business. “The founding principles have stayed the same,” says Todd Fisher, founder and CEO. “Get the mechanics of the phone system out of the way so businesses can focus on their growth.”
Laure and Todd Fisher plan to involve their children in the business as they grow older, and are already exposing them to the office and to management strategies. It’s not unusual for the Fishers to use dinner-table conversations to explain to their children how to handle business and management situations.
Quick Tip: “Keep a mix of family and non-family voices at the table. Often, family members inherently tend to think alike because they come from similar backgrounds.”
“We hire people who are never satisfied with the status quo and who challenge each other to keep getting better,” says Todd Fisher. “[Our] open-door culture and strong, performance-driven compensation keeps everyone focused on delighting customers.”
Laure and Todd Fisher are building CallTrackingMetrics for the long term and would like to take the company public one day. “We plan to create a formal internship program to involve future generations of Fishers and our employees’ families in the business,” says Todd Fisher.
