When Diane Lonsdale started working at Harvey Agency, the company was called Harvey & Daughters and had a staff of 17 people. As EVP and chief experience officer, the first thing Lonsdale focused on was putting together a strategy that would help Harvey grow into a contemporary, savvy ad agency with local influence. In the four years Lonsdale has been at Harvey, the firm has grown to 35 full-time employees, and its revenues have grown by 50 percent.

Lonsdale believes that community leadership starts with heart: having compassion for a cause and dedicating energy and passion to seeing it thrive. Her passion for kids led to 20 years of volunteering in children’s ministry, including serving a five-year staff leadership role as “children’s pastor” to more than 500 children at Grace Fellowship Church in Timonium. “With all the wonderful opportunities I have been given to mentor others, the greatest of all has been with my own three children, who are now young adults,” Lonsdale says.
