President and CEO
Chambers is a design service company that provides planning and architectural services, interior design and consulting for private clubs across the country. The company’s specialization stemmed from obstacles that challenged Chambers when consumer demands and expectations began to change in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Rather than being stretched too thin, the company chose to concentrate on working with the private club industry and producing the services to suit their often highly specific needs. This choice bolstered the company’s business and has helped it thrive.
Excellence Mantra: “Work in partnership with clients to infuse a commitment to quality into every aspect of their physical environment and member experience.”
With an eye on the future, Chambers has built a tradition of hiring and training exceptional individuals to lead the company through future generations and continue to provide excellent service. Richard A. Snellinger, Chambers’ president and CEO, is committed to “[establishing] a motivated work environment with a drive to exceed expectations of both the firm and our clients.” During the Great Recession, private clubs as a whole were faced with constant financial obstacles, but many of the clubs working with Chambers were able to remain open and stable. “By following our motto for achieving service excellence and understanding that everything does, in fact, matter,” Snellinger says, “we have helped build a stronger private club industry.”
